In the desert peninsula of La Guajira, at the northern tip of Colombia, weaving is passed from one generation of women to the next. Every strap in this collection is woven by hand by an indigenous community there, on looms and with patterns that carry their own meaning.

“A line in your own words about why you started this.”
The idea was simple: let the weave do what it already does — hold something precious — and turn it into light. Each piece pays the weavers fairly and is made in small editions.
